I had initially came to shoot The Cocoa Beach Pier but this Great Blue Heron would not get out of the way. It was totally blocking my shot of the pier. It stood strong and proud, glancing at me from time to time as if it were hinting at me to take its picture. I finally got the hint and took it. Boy, am i glad i did. This is one of my better shots and really prompts an emotional reaction
