After spending a week on an organic farm in Tanzania, I was hooked to plant something right here at home. I spent the next months pouring over information on what would grow, and what I could sell. Had to have that angle right? It has to be delicious so I can eat it and others will want it too! One of the options I settled on was the mysterious Honeyberry. I had never had one but all the reviews said they were delicious. They couldn't all be wrong. Hardly anyone had any. I finally found some in Mankato, towards the end of the season. They looked a bit sad, but I took them all anyways. They were planted summer 2019. 2020 they had some berries but some jerks ate them all. 2021 should be the first year they bear enough fruit to actually taste the rewards of my labor.
