A green, iridescent Jumping spider spreads its third pair of legs wide as it jumps
This male Jumping spider, of an unidentified species, is from the lowland rain forest of Northern Costa Rica. Different types of Jumping spiders seem to strike different "poses" while in mid-air. This one extends its third pair of legs as if they were wings.
