The state of California is enduring some of the worst fires in history. We live in the bay area and the smoke has been terrible. One afternoon we had a moment of fresh air and I sat outside and captured this hawk near the moon. The sky still had a pink tinge to it that you can see reflected in the clouds and hawk's feathers.
