A heart in Antelope Canyon

I had just finished chemo therapy for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. After 20 years of editorial photography, I wanted to search out pure beauty, and found it in the slot canyons of Page, Arizona. Whereas most visitors to the canyons get trucked in by the busload (literally), we managed to find a guide who canceled our first visit because of an overcast day, then suggested just the right time and place to visit Upper Antelope Canyon. I said that I'd seen all the shots, She said, "No you haven't." Then she led me to this, which is there for everyone, if you just take your time, don't follow the crowd, and talk to folks who know the slot canyons..
