A hidden treasure in a Brazilian Bromeliad
I took my analog camera, a Praktica Mtl5b, and my best friend to the Botanical Garden of Rio de Janeiro. As we visited the garden, many gorgeous and colourful flowers stood out, and I had the perfect scenario to take pictures of my best friend. However, when we arrived at the bromeliad, one little and delicate pink flower called my attention. She stood there timidly and humble, amongst many bigger and shinier others. There was something candid and simple about her. So I stood very close to her and tried to focus only on her pink side. It took me a while to take it as my friend was impatiently waiting for me, but it was worth it.
