A hiking break by Lac Blanc
Three miles into my solo hike starting from the La Flegere in Chamonix-Mont Blanc, France, I came to Lac Blanc, whose water is quite a wonder to see in person. The vibrant turquoise of the water contrasted against the blues and whiles of the snowy glaciers behind, combined with the 3 hour trek uphill, make this the most breath-taking and rewarding sight I have ever seen.
