A Hindu ritual called Deb Deepvali performed in the river Ganga,in Kartik Poornima[November] Deepavali is an auspicious Indian festival and has great importance in Hindu culture. This festival is celebrated with lighting diyas [oil lamps] along the shore of the river Ganges. Deepavali is the four-day festival celebrated mostly in the south Indian states.
