This shot was taken in August 2015 in Hoonah, a Tlingit community well-known for its delicious crabs. Untypically for the region, it was a truly hot summer day with about 82 °F !! Locals and tourists alike enjoyed the warm temperatures. Children were laughing and splashing around in the cold, refreshing waters of the Icey Strait. A really lovely scenery!
