A Kea with an Idea

This photo was taken of one of the most intelligent birds on earth. The Kea, the world's only alpine parrot, is no stranger to visitors of the Fiordland National Park located on the South Island of New Zealand. These magnificent birds are infamously known to get up close and personal to anyone who may have food. Unfortunately the Kea has been placed on the endangered list and must be monitored by use of leg bracelets.
