A king penguin appears to direct traffic on South Georgia Island
Hundreds of thousands of King penguins descend on South Georgia Island’s Salisbury Plain to mate and bear young. They all seem to be going somewhere in a line, but sometimes leave their line to enter another heading in the opposite direction.
