This photograph was taken my recent tour to Leh-Ladakh. I met with Jeemat lama in Shey Palace . Situated 15 km south of Leh shey palace was built in 1655. It was used as a summer retreat by the kings of Ladakh. There is a small Buddhist monastery inside the palace and the lama lives alone their. The only companion is the small cute cat. The monastery is full of serenity & peace.
