14th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Mobile
A large colony of bats in a golden cave.
The Monfort Bat Cave/Sanctuary located in Samal Island was part of our itinerary during our trip in Davao, Philippines. We were told that there are approximately 2 million bats in the caves.
