The Partnach Gorge may look peaceful, but between the water rushing below and the snow runoff falling from above it was nearly impossible to hear anyone unless they spoke directly into your ear. It is that loud in the Gorge. I didn't care about speaking with anyone. I was completely focused on watching my every step so I didn't slip and tumble over the edge as I took some shots of this amazing place.
