The Matusadona National Park of Zimbabwe is home to a beautiful lodge with amazingly knowledgable and hospitable owner couple. When they saw some of my night sky photos, they asked if I could do something to document their life's work on Lake Kariba . No one deserves it more given the passion and knowledge they put into their little paradise, so this is what we came up with - we even managed to include their dog. If you look closely, there’s an elephant down by the water shores, and you can see some of the sunken trees that fell victim to the lake's creation when Kariba dam was built. A truly special place.
