A light November frost on a foggy fall morning in Ohio

Northwest Ohio can often be gloomy and gray as winter sets in. On a chilly fall morning I noticed the last bit of proof that summer was once here. These few roses and their leaves remained vivid and strong against the change of the season. The sun began breaking through the fog as it rose and cast a beautiful glow on everything that would soon be gray and cold.
