A Lionfish while snorkeling in Roatan, Honduras.

Roatan, Honduras is at the tip of the vast Mesoamerican barrier reef system. This reef is the second biggest barrier reef after Australia’s and the largest in the northern hemisphere. The lionfish is a carnivorous fish native to the Indo-Pacific that is now an invasive species in the Atlantic. This a beautiful and dangerous fish all wrapped into one.
