I saw this Southern Tree Agama basking in the sun on a winter's day in Kruger National Park in South Africa. It was rare if we got to see any reptiles at all on this trip due to the colder weather, so when I saw this beautiful Agama, with his colors so prominent and contrasting to the dull tree, I had to take this shot and capture his melancholy look that contrasted his bright colors.
