A local surfer gets the wave of the day at Pipeline.
This was the scariest day of my life. The surf contest was going on all day and I noticed the surf was getting bigger. By the time I showed up there were solid 20ft face waves rolling in. I had to suck it up and swim out. Worth it. The locals at Pipe owned it that day and it was a humbling experience.
