A lone tree clinging to a cliff over Big Indian Valley.

In far Southeast Oregon stands Steens Mountain. The area is extremely remote and wild horses roam these hills, besides a few roads and trails, there is little human influence. This photo was taken near the top of the sprawling mountain overlooking one of the many valleys. Juniper trees and a stream run the length of the valley.
