Ladakh is quite familiar to travellers around the world, its brother, Zanskar is less well-known due to very tough road and less touristy but a much more sacred religious destination. It is known as Little Tibet where many Tibetan monks moved in to preserve and develop their religion due to the political situation in Tibet, China. This religious area is in need of being maintained and preserved.
