My husband and I hiked through the Alakai Swamp Trail and I took this picture of him ahead of me on the boardwalk. The hike is a 3.5 mile one-way hike to an overlook of Kauai's north shore. The boardwalk goes most of the way through the swamp where the only sounds are birds and the buzzing of bugs.
