A lost blockhaus on the beach of La Torche

The site of La Torche is very impressive. It is a strategic rock point in front of the Atlantic Ocean. Traces of prehistorics occupation coexist with the ruins of blockhaus that the germans build during the Worl War II. The site was indeed a important part of the Atlatic wall. The furious storms coming from the ocean are erasing progressively the ruines of the militar german conctructions, sometimes lost on the beach as in this photo.
