A Maasai's World
Mwenga, a local Maasai sharing his knowledge about the environment and culture, and how the community lives with the ever-present “Mountain of God” - or Ol Doinyo Lengai, in their local language. The active volcano in northern Taznania is a unique combination of being a most sacred space for the Maasai people, while at the same time presenting a one-of-a-kind window into the geology of our world, as it is the only volcano on earth producing natrocarbonatite lava.
