The photo was taken during my (first) visit to Bryce Canyon in March. I was admiring the beauty of the canyon when (out nowhere) this beautiful raven flew (almost) to me. It surprised me, as well as the other tourists. The crowd was ooing & awwing; remarking how "blessed" I was.. which snapped me out of my "awe" in time for me to snap this photo (I did not use the "zoom", and didn't step back for fear I would spook the bird. For me, it was a magical moment.
