A magnificent frigatebird preens, its display sac inflated.
At the nesting colony on North Seymour Island in the Galapagos, several male magnificent frigatebirds were displaying, but this one seemed more interesting in preening despite his proudly inflated gular sac. He devoted meticulous attention to his iridescent feathers.
