A male blue jewel damselfly is on guard for his female laying eggs
A male blue jewel damselfly flies around his territory when his female is laying eggs. The male will chase out any insect flying near because he established a turf for him and his females. After patrol-flying near his turf, the male is landing to a spot near his female.
