A male Calliope Hummingbird made regular visits to the branch of a small tree on a trail near the RV park we were staying at in Creston BC. I grabbed my camera and tripod only to find I was too low for an acceptable shot. I returned to the motor home to get my stepladder, after setting up again, perched, with my tripod on top of the stepladder I managed to get the images I had come for.
