A MAN IS BATHING BUFFALOES IN THE HOLY RIVER.

BATHING - Now a days pollution is a big problem of our world specially in India.A cowherd is making his buffaloes and cows bath in the holy water of the sacred rivers,Ganges. Bathing animals in the Ganges, one of India's holy rivers,is a living testimony to the alarming level of water pollution in our country.Almost all Indian rivers today are indescribably polluted. Thanks to popular indifference,Industrial exploitation and lack of administrative initiatives. The photograph depicts an everyday sight - bathing dirty pet or domesticated animals like buffaloes, cows, dogs, goats, monkeys - at Varanasi which is one of India's holiest cities, the abode of lord Shiva situated on the banks of river Ganges. As else where in India, such acts ( bathing animals ) are considered pious and a road to salvation.
