A man tries to fish along the harbor in Hong Kong amidst trash with the HK Convention & Exhibition Center in the background.

This image captures the common issues facing big cities, especially such a developed city as Hongkong. We have the man who tries to find normalcy by fishing in the harbor - probably out of nostalgia of times when the seas in this area were still rich with natural resources and marine life. The trash in the foreground shows the pressure consumption puts in waste management. As the population increases in Hong Kong because of the economic opportunities, there is also a growing need to manage plastic trash properly. In the distance, the famous undulating canopy of HK Convention & Exhibition Center paints a modern and forward-thinking version of the country.
