A Mantis Evening Stroll
This praying mantis had its sights set on several bees that were pollinating roses in my mother's garden. I love the stark contrast of the brown mantis and the vibrant green leaves of the foliage. It was facing the opposite direction from me, but as I inched closer, its head spun right around.
