This photo was taken as we drove past this man's stall where he was selling mattresses in the Old Delhi area in India. I was struck by the variety of shapes, patterns and colors of the mattresses all jumbled together as well as his pose bending over to care for his goods. In this small stall, these mattresses are his sole source of income for his family. This is how people in India obtain the things they need...from vendors in small specialty stalls and stores. No or few larger department stores.
