A peaceful demonstration took place in the city of Berlin some days after the results of the US presidential elections were unveiled. People from diverse backgrounds and nationalities gathered at the historical Brandenburger Tor, in front of the US embassy, to show their discontent towards the detrimental policies of the new US president-elect. After the demonstration, protest signs were left in front of the embassy and a line of candles was lit.
