This photo was taken as the Old Faithful Geyser erupted at Yellowstone. My family and I had road tripped across half the country to Yellowstone, namely, to see this particular sight - and we missed the eruption its first time around, as it happened earlier than predicted. We came back about an hour later, just in time!
