A might Yellow Poplar gracing the mountain skies in the Bent Creek Experimental Forest, N.C
This photo was taken while on a student trip to the Bent Creek Experimental Forest. The tree was in a spot where the Forest Service experimented with Yellow Poplar since 1927. Over the years the area has had a lot of recreational use and conservation of natural resources. I feel this tree is a symbol of when man and nature work together to see the greater good of the landscape.
