This is a photo I took while in the o.r. immediately after my son was born. He was our first child and a healthy pregnancy ended with a emergency C-section. This was the first moment shared between a new mother and her first child. The look on my wife's face was a look of pure happiness, love, but most of all relief. For our son came into this world healthy. The moment a woman becomes mother is such a special moment and to capture it was also special for me.
