This photograph illustrates why I am so fortunate to live near the Colorado Rockies. During a climb up Quandary Peak, with my father and brother, we came across a number of mountain goats--although this one seemed to be just as curious about us as we were of him. The quiet moment shown in this photo is one I shall never forget or take for granted.
