A New Mexican front yard
Clay pottery is common decor for front yards located in the Southwestern United States, and the main art form of many local tribes. Stucco is the most common finishing material on the exterior walls of New Mexican houses; an homage to the days when native people sealed their abode with mud using their own two hands. And this stark contrast of brilliant blue and earthy brown is representative of the cool and warm colors of the Southwest.
