A paddy farmer during excluding rice.

Mekhliganj is the border city of India, from where the Teesta River enters Bangladesh. Last year, the river water destroyed a huge quantity of paddy due to sudden heavy rain. The farmer didn’t get a chance to harvest the crop. Many fields drowned. When the crops dried, they gathered too much sediment, which destroyed the rice and created thick air pollution while thrashing to exclude the rice.
