During a Peace and Conflict focused study abroad trip through UC Berkeley, I was not only able to help solve and learn about problems in Kenya, I was also so lucky to witness so much beauty in nature. The Masai Mara reserve is not as abundant with wildlife as before, but it is one of the places to observe animals in the wild that are either too dangerous or too endangered to view otherwise. This safari gave me passion to learn more about protecting wildlife.
