20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
A Partial Peace
On the side of the road lying in the dirt, I saw Peace downed and trapped under a slender branch with its circle of oneness, totality and wholeness missing and only its three branches remaining. They were being overtaken by lichen. Peace was now a partial peace. A partial Peace is an unsustainable Peace.
