A small mountain pond formed at the base of a waterfall is still. The waterfall's flow halted in the Southwest drought. In this pond are all the fall leaves that tumbled down the falls and never made it further as the flow dried up. Each night the pond freezes, creating bubbles of ice on the autumn leaves as the sun rises each morning.
