A perfectly still Katmai brown bear surrounded by flowing waters
I loved how perfectly still this bear was perched atop Brooks Falls, carefully tracking each salmon at the base of the falls, preparing for the exact moment of their jump. Since it was an overcast day, I experimented with my camera settings to capture a long exposure, highlighting the flowing water.
