Snow arrived a month early in September than the normal year in Yellowstone National Park. I entered by the West Entrance of Yellowstone after spending one night in town nearby. The only road opened was toward the south entrance, and I met a herd of bison just next to the road, that was very close. I pulled over my minivan to the shoulder, and took this photo from car. I was very lucky to capture a buffalo in snow.
