In Anshun,a small town in Guizhou Province in southwest China, there are some abandoned houses. This pottery jar sits quietly on the windowsill of one of these houses. The wooden lattice window behind it is covered by bamboo curtains from inside. To the left of the windowsill is a potted plant.
