A Quick Sniff Of the Air
This mink had been fishing in a slow moving pool on the Little Goose Creek when it decided to head upstream to check out another area. It paused to sniff the air just before it cleared the brush and slunk into the water, cruising up the bank under the protection of a sheet of ice, then dove underneath and swam to the other side where the grass and brush were thicker, as it continued on it's quest upstream.
