14th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
A quiet dragonfly resting in a busy world.
As I was taking pictures in the park (mind going at a billion miles per hour because this was taken while I was learning how to shoot) I saw this dragonfly sitting on a rock; calm, cool, and collected. I remember thinking: what would it be like to be him (or her)? so I decided to capture what that must be like in this picture.
