I was very fortunate to be in the right place at the right time when I took this photo. I noticed this hawk perched about 20 yards ahead of me when all of a sudden it swooped down and grabbed a frog. Then instead of flying away, it flew up to this branch just North of me about 25 feet, which provided me the perfect lighting. I shot several photos of it eating and this is my favorite. It is not as graphic as the others. I shot this with my Canon 70d and Tamron 150-600. This photo is untouched.
