A remote village

Even today, in Romania there are over 60000 houses without electricity and proper road access - like the ones from the image, where the people live in a completely different way, much more close to origins. The picture shows a Maramures mountains's remote village, with scattered traditional wooden houses and barns and little gardens, separated by large slopes covered by pasturage.
