This squirrel and their family live in our backyard, which has been under construction all year. Since we disrupted their lives, we felt the need to make a peace offering of some free food. We’ve watched this family have 3 babies, and visit the feeder, either taking turns with mom, or all 3 siblings together. Now that it’s getting cold out, it’s especially satisfying watching them scurry away with full cheek pouches.
